|Banbury Railway Station|
We applied 3500sqm of 25 year guarantee, high performance ventilated torch-on-felt roofing system, to the entire main line station roof, together with profile metal cladding, roof dome installations and drainage systems, (all to a continually fully operational station). We also supplied post contract cleaning services.
|Pipers Lane (Coventry)|
In addition to the initial installation of profile steel sheeting to external elements of the building, this project involved some 2000sqm of flat roofing, which was carried out by the mechanical fixing of PUR (rigid polyurethane), insulation board to an existing woodwool slab deck, onto which was applied FDT Rhepanol fk (polyisobutylene), single ply membrane.
Bond House (Nuneaton Town Centre)
This project included the application of 500sqm of mechanically fixed rigid PUR (polyurethane insulation), onto which we applied Rhepanol fk (polyisobutylene), single ply membrane. In addition to the roof coverings, the parapets were re-designed to have installed a purpose made fabricated steel capping system, to ensure long term watertight integrity and eliminate the previous suspect brickwork arrangement.
Pheasant's Nest Farm (Warwickshire countryside)
This interesting project involved the renovation of a semi-derelict farm house, and its" outbuildings. The original wainey battens were carefully retained, in order to preserve the traditional look of the roof from the inside of the open plan living areas. The roof was then built up on the outside, with a system of rigid insulation and counter battening (devised by ACSAP), before the original reclaimed tiles were blended with make-up tiles and laid to produce the finish apparent in the photographs.
The aviary and other outbuildings were structurally braced, new purlins installed and the roof clad with Kingspan composite roof sheets.
Peugeot Motor Company (Ryton & Stoke Plants)
We provided continual reactive and proactive maintenance over a period of some 30 years, this included projects large and small, such as built-up felt roofing, Rhepanol single-ply membranes, steel re-roofing and overcladding, vertical cladding and facias , rubberised plygene gutterline systems and in the refurbishment of 22,000sqm of roof at the Stoke plant, to provide high grade warehousing of components for the Ryton plant. We also carried out large scale replacement of 2400sqm of Georgian Wired Northlight glazing with polycarbonate systems.
Leamington Rehabilitation Hospital
This project involved installing rigid PUR (polyurethane insulation),and a new plywood deck, onto which we applied 1000sqm of Rhepanol membrane. We also laid 400sqm of recycled rubber paving slabs.
The Hinckley Island Hotel
As part of an extensive refurbishment of this prestigious site, ACSAP were pleased to carry out to the highest standards, amongst other things:
• New interlocking tiling to new build elements.
• Strip and re-tile to existing elements.
• Valley lining.
• Rigid insulation and built up felt roofing to new extensions.
• Single ply roofs and vertical coverings, which included standing seam detail work.
Netherton Furniture Warehouse (West-Midlands)
This project called for the mechanical removal of bitumen bonded granite chippings, from some 450sqm of existing roof. This was followed, by the installation of a ventilated 3-layer high performance torch-on felt system, together with the installation of rubberised plygene valley liners.
Wooton Grange Barns
This project called for the renovation of barn roofs, which included the installation of Multifoil insulation and counter-battens, followed by the blending and relaying of reclaimed tiles with the originals to preserve the original aesthetics.
Henley-in-Arden College (Warwickshire)
This project involved a strip and re-slate in reclaimed Welsh slate of all external elevations. On the courtyard roofs ACSAP stripped and removed asbestos cement 'slates', and reslated with Eternit 'Thrutone" fibre cement slates. All flat roofs were re-roofed with the Rhepanol fk system.
Cobham Hotel (Surrey)
This new hotel development involved the installation of Marley Monarch (a polymer cement slate effect tile), and also included extensive flat roofing to the existing building.
Granby Square Cinema (Leicester)
This project involved the reroofing of a listed 1920's Art Deco building in Bridgewater tiles. ACSAP were responsible for the commission of moulds to produce hip, and makeup tiles (all bedded in lime mortar), for this rare variety of tiling.
King's Cross Station (London)
ACSAP installed 2500sqm of new plywood decking onto the concourse flat roof onto which we torch applied a ventilated 3-layer high-performance felt system.
Interestingly, our programme of works was able to accommodate the very particular requirements of the Harry Potter film production team. And our roof was able to survive this experience too!

Exel Logistics (Coventry)
This project involved the installation of new cladding rails and profile sheeting to an existing rendered frontage of the office building, including all detail work around windows, doors, entrance foyer and mobility ramps. Also across the production area five 50m plygene valley liners were installed .
Vanderhoff Electronics (Nuneaton)
The roofs of this 1000sqm factory unit were first prepared by pressure washing the existing asbestos cement roofing, and subsequently applying urathane liquid coatings.
Dordon Dry Dock (Staffordshire)
ACSAP clad this large single span, portal roofed dry dock building with plastisol coated profile steel sheeting.
Roof Garden (Shepherds Bush, London)
During this project ACSAP installed a new deck and covered with a built-up felt roofing system which included the installation of Promenade tiles for the roof patio (as in the photograph). The project also utilised an epoxy-resin sealing system to the balustrade posts
Pennington House (Kenilworth)
This large scale development included a strip and retile, new build elements in reclaimed plain tiles, and the installation of built-up felt roofing and lead-work.
